In your own space, share your love for a trope, cliché, kink, motif, or theme. (Or a few!) What makes it particularly appealing for you? What do you like in fanworks featuring that trope?


Last time I briefly talked about my love for time travel. Today let's talk about crossovers, because I'm a huge fan! Meshing two (or even three) different canons/fandoms in ways that keep the characters and original plot/universe recognisable, sounds like the ultimate challenge. I also like reading porn between characters who otherwise would never have met. *g*

Some canons/fandoms are exceptionally well suited for crossovers (like Bond/Kingsman/Sherlock), others require a bit more imagination to make them work (Bleach/Harry Potter), but reading a well executed crossover makes me incredibly happy.

For about a week now there's something bothering me concerning my reading preferences and cravings for fanfiction and I simply can't get it out of my mind. It's kind of silly, really, but I keep thinking about it.
